Predator: Killer of Killers Second Trailer Released
The animated film Predator: Killer of Killers, which will bring a different breath to the Predator universe, will meet the audience on Hulu on June 6. The second trailer for the film directed by Dan Trachtenberg has been released and a new poster has also been shared. The production combines three short stories in which the deadliest warriors in history turn into victims who turn into hunters.
Three Historical Stories in the Predator Universe
Predator: Killer of Killers takes the audience to three different historical periods: Feudal Japan, the Viking Age, and World War II. Each story follows a leading warrior of their time. The first story features a Viking raider who sets out on a journey of revenge with his son. The second part features a ninja who confronts his samurai brother, and the third part features a fighter pilot investigating a strange threat in the sky. However, these characters are not only deadly warriors; they also have to face the most dangerous hunters in the universe.
The director of the film, Dan Trachtenberg, describes this project as an emotional and intense narrative where each episode is handled in a different genre. According to the director, the most exciting aspect of this production is the unique challenges that the Yautja race faces in different cultural and historical contexts. “All the episodes are different genres. Some are more fun, some are more intense. Each of the characters is trying to break a cycle that has been going on for generations,” says Trachtenberg, noting that the Viking story in particular has both a fun and a harsh tone.
The film, written by Micho Robert Rutare and edited by Dan Trachtenberg, is built on characters created by Jim Thomas & John Thomas. The animation production is undertaken by The Third Floor, with important names such as John Davis, Dan Trachtenberg and Ben Rosenblatt in the producer’s chair.
The film may also have elements connected to Prey, which Trachtenberg previously directed, and the upcoming Predator: Badlands. Predator: Killer of Killers will be released on Hulu on June 6, 2025. With the new trailer and poster, the exciting countdown has begun for fans.
