PS Portal has received an update with cloud streaming support that is sure to catch gamers’ attention. In beta, the feature offers access to more than 120 PS5 games and promises a new gaming experience for PS Plus Premium subscribers.

PS Portal, Sony’s PlayStation Portal for the PlayStation ecosystem, now offers up to 1080p resolution and 60 FPS performance with cloud streaming support. This innovation provides a great advantage, especially for PS Plus Premium subscribers. With the update, Ghost of Tsushima, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Monster Hunter Rise, and more than 120 PS5 games are now playable over the cloud.

The update allows players to save and sync up to 100GB with PlayStation Plus Cloud storage support. This makes it easy to use the same game progress on different devices. DualSense features such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers have also been integrated into PlayStation Portal’s touchscreen. This aims to deliver an authentic PS5 experience, even on a portable device.

PlayStation Portal cloud streaming is currently available in beta in more than 30 countries. These include major markets such as the US, UK, Germany, Japan and Canada. While still in beta, the feature brings gamers one step closer to the future of cloud-based gaming.

With this move, Sony has the potential to transform PlayStation Portal from a mere accessory into an essential gaming device for PS Plus Premium members.
