PS5 Pro Graphics Settings May Have Been Leaked
While the console’s existence hasn’t even been officially announced yet, the PS5 Pro‘s graphics settings may have leaked from the settings of No Man’s Sky. Although Sony has increased security measures after the PS5 Pro leaks, this doesn’t stop people from investigating.
PS5 Pro Graphics Settings Leaked via No Man’s Sky
On Platform X, user ThatBomberBoi has shared the graphics benchmark settings for No Man’s Sky on both consoles. ThatBomberBoi is known for his posts exclusively on No Man’s Sky and detailed leaks that go deep into the game’s code. In his latest post, he compared the PS5 Pro’s graphics settings with the current PS5 and revealed important differences. You can review the post made by ThatBomberBoi here.
PS5 Pro Graphics Settings
In images shared by ThatBomberBoi, it appears that the PS5 Pro’s graphics settings have been improved in some key areas in the code referred to as Trinity.
- Dynamic Resolution Scaling: The lowest dynamic resolution scaling factor has been increased from 0.6 to 0.8.
- Water Quality: The water quality setting has been adjusted from high to ultra.
These changes represent a significant increase in the PS5 Pro’s visual and processing power. In particular, the increase in dynamic resolution scaling should result in sharper and clearer images. Water quality has been upgraded to ultra, which may make environmental details look more impressive and realistic.
Power and Performance Boost
These shared graphics settings suggest that the PS5 Pro could be around 30-35% more powerful than the current PS5. This estimate seems quite reasonable compared to the previous generation’s transition from the standard version to the PRO model. However, this power increase is expected to be reflected not only in graphics settings, but also in overall performance and gaming experience.
Of course, it’s important to note that this information has not been officially confirmed and is only rumored. While leaks create excitement in the gaming world, it is better to be cautious until official announcements are made.
