Rainbow Six Siege X Introduces New Modes and Upgrades

Ubisoft is preparing to make one of the most comprehensive changes to the popular tactical shooter with the new content update announced under the name Rainbow Six Siege X. This update, which will be released on June 10, will add many features to the game, such as a brand new 6v6 mode, sound system innovations and improved movement mechanics. Rainbow Six Siege X is described as the biggest update since the game’s launch in 2015.

What’s New in Rainbow Six Siege X

One of the most striking innovations in Rainbow Six Siege X is the new 6v6 game mode called “Dual Front”. This mode allows players to combine both offensive and defensive operators on the same team. There will be a pool of 35 operators to choose from, and these operators will rotate twice throughout the season. Teams will experience a strategic experience by attacking and defending at the same time. This innovation adds significant variety to the game in terms of teamwork and tactical depth.

Ubisoft has made a major overhaul to the game’s audio system to further improve the player experience. With this update, which reorganizes elements such as sound echoes and propagation, players will now be able to detect their opponents’ locations more precisely. In addition, rappel mechanics have also been improved. It will now be possible to sprint and turn around corners by moving horizontally. These innovations will offer players a more fluid and dynamic gameplay.

Players who want to experience new content can join the Rainbow Six Siege X beta process. The beta, which is accessible on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC platforms, allows you to earn an invite with a 30-minute watch time on Twitch. The beta process will continue until March 19.

This update also announces that the game will be free to play for a limited time with the start of the new season. Quick Play, Unranked and Dual Front modes will be available for free, but modes such as Ranked and Siege Cup will remain exclusive to paid players.
