Ready or Not Sets a Record on Consoles
The tactical FPS Ready or Not has been a hit since its launch on consoles. VOID Interactive CEO Julio Rodriguez announced that the game sold over 1 million copies in just four days. This success represents a 10x faster sales momentum compared to the game’s PC launch.
Ready or Not Hits Consoles
Released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X on July 15, 2025, Ready or Not received positive reviews upon launch and led to a threefold increase in PC player numbers. This rapid rise has rekindled interest in both the console and PC communities.
Julio Rodriguez shared on LinkedIn, “I’m proud to have achieved this success with my team. This moment is incredibly precious to us, and we never take it for granted.” He also stated that the team continues to improve the game experience by taking user feedback into account.
Ready or Not follows a SWAT team trying to control a crime wave in the fictional city of Los Sueños. Players respond to incidents such as robberies, drug busts, and mass shootings. Playable solo or in multiplayer, the game stands out with its realistic gameplay.
VOID Interactive’s Ready or Not, which first launched on PC in December 2023, looks set to continue its impressive success on consoles with even greater ambition. The development team continues to work on fixing in-game issues and aims to provide a more balanced experience for the community.
