Red Dead Redemption 2 Remaster Tips
Since Red Dead Redemption 2‘s release in 2018, one of the most requested features has been 60 FPS support for next-generation consoles. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players, in particular, have been eagerly awaiting a remaster or updated version of the game. While years of rumors have been debunked, Rockstar’s quiet move could be a genuine sign this time.
Anticipation for a Red Dead Redemption 2 Remaster Grows
Recently, eagle-eyed players noticed a small but significant change on Red Dead Redemption 2’s Steam page. The game’s promotional text has been updated from the years-old reward-focused announcement to a short, direct summary that evokes a more immediate release. This seems like a preparation Rockstar won’t be wasting.
According to SteamDB data, the change was made on October 3rd. The old statement emphasized that the game had “received over 175 Game of the Year awards” and “accumulated over 250 perfect review scores.” The new statement, however, highlights the story of Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang. This change feels like a “boxed game back cover” to many players.
Switch rumors and rumors of an updated version have surfaced for Red Dead Redemption in the past, but no official announcement has been made. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether this new statement is just a simple update or a sign of genuine remaster preparations.
Rockstar Games is generally known for its quiet but deliberate moves. As was the case before the GTA 6 reveal, small hints sometimes lead to major announcements. Perhaps Red Dead Redemption 2 is preparing to return to next-gen consoles with a special surprise.
