Rematch Had a Legendary Start

The new football game Rematch, released by Sifu developer Sloclap, has achieved remarkable figures in its first week. The game, which was released on June 19, has achieved impressive success in both sales and player numbers in just a few days.

Rematch Breaks Records in Its First Week

Sloclap announced that Rematch has surpassed 1 million sales in less than a week and reached a total of 3 million unique players thanks to Xbox Game Pass. These three million players have played a total of 11.8 million matches in the game and scored 55.6 million goals. It has also recorded 33.5 million assists and 69.1 million saves. There are currently over 19,000 players actively playing the game on Steam.

Celebrating the game’s success, Sloclap shared the following on social media: “This is just the beginning,” and thanked the players. The development team stated that they will continue to inform the community with regular updates to take the game’s multiplayer football experience to the next level.

However, one important feature currently missing for Rematch is cross-platform support. Sloclap announced last week that cross-play is their “absolute priority.” The studio announced that they are working to add this feature to the game as soon as possible and will meet the community’s expectations.

Rematch is not only drawing attention with its numbers, but also with its player interest. Many players praise the game’s competitive nature and fun gameplay. Considering Sloclap’s previous successes, it is expected that Rematch’s rise will continue in the coming period.
