Ubisoft’s crazy open-world sports game Riders Republic is jumping from the virtual slopes to the big screen this time. The game, which was first released in 2021, brought together many extreme sports from cycling to wingsuits. According to the news announced by Deadline, the Riders Republic film, which will be developed by the Ubisoft Film & Television studio, will be directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. The duo had attracted attention especially with their success in the Bad Boys series. With this agreement, Ubisoft has once again shown its determination to bring its games to the cinematic universe.

The film is expected to bring the different sports offered by the game to the screen with a dynamic narrative. Fast-paced activities such as snow skiing, mountain biking, snowboarding and wingsuit will be the main source of action in the film. The fact that Ubisoft has previously entered cinema and television with successful projects such as “Mythic Quest” also increases expectations.

Ubisoft Film & Television is known as an initiative that aims to keep the company’s beloved brands alive outside of games. The Riders Republic adaptation is also considered a new step in this strategy. The company is also on the agenda with its Splinter Cell anime series and other game-based projects.
