RoboCop: Rogue City Expansion Pack Introduced
RoboCop: Rogue City, released last year, was met with great interest by players and received positive reviews from critics. Now, exciting news has arrived for gamers. Developer Teyon and publisher Nacon have announced the standalone expansion pack RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business. The new content will meet players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC platforms this summer.
What’s in RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business?
The expansion pack takes place after the story of the main game. While the crime rate is still high in Old Detroit, a massive complex called OmniTower, OCP’s new project, is being built. However, this building is soon taken over by a group of armed mercenaries. Players take control of RoboCop and struggle to clear the building floor by floor and restore order.
In this expansion, players will face more challenging enemies. High-tech enemies such as flying drones, exploding robots, anti-personnel turrets and jetpack-wielding special forces await players. In addition, new opponents that wield katanas and look more like machines than humans have been added to the game.
RoboCop’s arsenal is also being expanded. In addition to the iconic Auto-9 pistol, players will now be able to use a new weapon called the Cryo Cannon. In addition, new mechanics such as finishing moves performed by hitting concrete walls or vending machines to neutralize enemies are also included in the game.
Another notable feature of the expansion is the voice behind RoboCop. Legendary actor Peter Weller brings the character of RoboCop back to life. In addition, players will be able to encounter familiar faces in special missions where they can play as Alex Murphy and learn new details that will add to the depth of the expansion’s story.
