RuneScape: Dragonwilds Announced
RuneScape: Dragonwilds will take players to a brand new continent called Ashenfall. This open-world survival game developed by Jagex invites RuneScape fans to an adventure that is both familiar and full of surprises. Playable alone or with up to four players, the game is centered around developing skills, setting up camps, and fighting powerful enemies like dragons.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds Content and Ashenfall Continent
Ashenfall is being added to the RuneScape universe as an entirely new continent, featuring five different biomes. Players will be able to learn new skills and set up camps to survive in these biomes. Familiar creatures from the RuneScape universe have been transformed by Ashenfall’s wild magic and have gained new appearances. In addition to creatures such as dragons, giant rats, and trolls, players will also encounter creatures that have merged with plants and thorns.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds will also feature familiar skills from previous RuneScape games. Classic activities like chopping down trees and cooking will play a major role in the game. In addition, players will have the opportunity to fly or interact with the environment in different ways thanks to magical abilities.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds will be available for PC in early access this spring. Jagex plans to release the full version of the game on consoles in 2026. More details about the game will be shared at an event on Twitch on April 15.
This new game aims to offer a nostalgic experience for those who love the RuneScape universe, while also bringing an innovative breath to the open-world survival genre. RuneScape: Dragonwilds looks set to impress both old fans and new players.
