Odyssey OLED G6 Stands Out with Its Technical Features

Samsung’s new monitor comes with a 27-inch QD-OLED panel with a resolution of 2560×1440. Offering a response time of 0.03 ms, the device promises higher contrast and color accuracy in games with HDR10+ Gaming support. The anti-reflective coating, which comes with a brightness value of up to 1000 nits, allows for clear images even in different lighting conditions.

Another striking feature of the device is the cooling system called OLED Safeguard+. This system, which uses an evaporative cooler, distributes heat up to five times more efficiently. In addition, the monitor dynamically adjusts the brightness according to the internal temperature. By reducing the brightness in static image elements, long-term problems such as OLED burn-in are prevented.

The Odyssey OLED G6 appeals not only to gamers but also to professional users who care about color accuracy. The model, which has PANTONE and PANTONE SkinTone certifications, can accurately display more than 2,100 colors and more than 110 skin tones. This offers a significant advantage for users working in areas such as video production and visual design.

Connection options include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-B and USB-A 3.2 ports. Thanks to its ergonomic design, it is suitable for different usage scenarios with height adjustment, tilt, swivel and VESA compatible mounting features. The device has been introduced with a price tag of around $1,100 and will be available in Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand as of May 12. Release dates for other countries will be announced later.
