Sir Whoopass: Immortal Death Now on Consoles

Sir Whoopass: Immortal Death, an open-world action RPG developed in partnership with Aurora Punks and Atomic Elbow, is now playable on consoles. The game, which was first released on PC in 2022, is now available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S for $17.99. The Deluxe version of the game comes with extra content.

Sir Whoopass Opens Its Doors to Console Players

Sir Whoopass: Immortal Death, unlike classic heroic stories, prefers a completely absurd and humorous narrative. Players take on the role of Sir Whoopass, who unintentionally throws the world into chaos, and must confront the enemy called “The Immortal” to fix this disaster. The story is adorned with humorous dialogues and unexpected events.

On the gameplay side, the game draws attention with its swords, maces, magic wands and physics-based comic attack mechanics. Ragdoll effects are used intensively in combat scenes that offer the player humor and action at the same time. While players fight against enemies such as orcs, skeletons and trolls, they can also personalize the experience with fun weapons and items.

The game, set in a wide open world called “Weirdwood” in an imaginary land, is focused on exploration. Many areas await players, from forests to caves, high peaks to hidden treasures. Along the way, they encounter both puzzles and interesting side quests. The humorous language of the game is also felt in these side quests.

With the PS5 and Xbox Series versions, players will be able to step into the world of Sir Whoopass with smoother performance and console-compatible controls. In addition, the $19.99 Digital Deluxe version includes the special clothing package “Threads of Mass Whoopery”. The promotional video released on the new generation consoles offers a nice preview for those curious about the absurd atmosphere of the game.
