Spider-Noir Trailer Starring Nicolas Cage Released
A new Spider-Man universe story is preparing to meet the audience with a very different tone this time. The series called Spider-Noir will bring a brand new adventure where Nicolas Cage gives life to a dark detective. The first trailer for this story set in 1930s New York has finally been shared.
Spider-Noir Will Bring the Noir Style to the Screen with Nicolas Cage
Adapted from Marvel’s Spider-Man Noir comic book, the Spider-Noir series tells the story of an old and tired private detective confronting his past superhero identity. The production starring Nicolas Cage can be watched in both black and white and color versions. According to the broadcast plan, the series will first meet the audience on the MGM+ platform, then on Prime Video the next day in more than 240 countries.
The cast of the series includes notable names such as Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, Abraham Popoola, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez and Jack Huston, in addition to Cage. The guest stars include familiar faces such as Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Amanda Schull and Kai Caster.
The first two episodes of Spider-Noir were directed by Emmy award-winning Harry Bradbeer. The series is accompanied by Steve Lightfoot, one of the creators of Marvel’s The Punisher, and Oren Uziel, the writer of 22 Jump Street. In addition, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal from the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse team also participated in the production process.
Nicolas Cage, who previously voiced Spider-Noir in the animated universe, will return with the same character in the Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse film to be released in 2027. However, this time we will have the opportunity to watch him in a live-action production, in a different atmosphere. The Spider-Noir series will meet with the audience in 2026. The first trailer has already revealed the tone and visual style of the story, and has sparked great curiosity among fans.
