Splinter Cell: Deathwatch Trailer Released

After a long silence, the Splinter Cell series is returning, this time in animated form. Netflix’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch brings back the iconic character of the series, Sam Fisher. The new trailer also shared important clues about the show’s intended atmosphere.

What’s in the Splinter Cell: Deathwatch Trailer?

The trailer shows Sam Fisher still in top form, bringing his years of experience to the field. The fact that John Wick creator Derek Kolstad is producing highlights the meticulous attention to detail in the action. The animation style, which combines 2D and 3D techniques, gives the fight and combat scenes a more realistic feel.

Sam Fisher won’t be alone in the series. He will be joined by a new Splinter Cell agent named Zinnia McKenna. This character is voiced by Kirby Howell-Baptiste, known for his work on The Sandman and Killing Eve. The duo’s dynamic is expected to add a unique depth to the series’ story.

The last game in the Splinter Cell series was released in 2013, and fans have been waiting a long time for new content. While there’s still no news about the remake, which was announced in 2021, this animated series seems poised to satisfy the longing for the series. The trailer’s action-packed gameplay, in particular, has raised expectations.

Splinter Cell: Deathwatch will be released on Netflix on October 14, 2025. Fans’ excitement has grown following the trailer, and it’s already becoming increasingly clear whether the series will introduce the Splinter Cell franchise to a new generation.
