Steam Awards 2024 Winners Announced
In the first days of 2025, Valve has announced the winners of Steam Awards 2024. There were 11 award categories for the Steam Awards this year, and some of the award winners include Steam games that are discounted during the Steam Winter Sale.
Steam Awards 2024 Winners
Similarly to The Game Awards 2024’s Players Voice award, gamers voted for their favorite games to win top accolades from the Steam Awards 2024. Voting was open across 11 distinct award categories, including the coveted Game of the Year award, from December 19 to December 31 at 1:00 p.m. EST. Steam users who voted also received exclusive Steam Awards themed chat stickers while waiting for the award winners to be revealed.

- VR Game of the Year: Metro Awakening
- Best Game You Suck At: Black Myth: Wukong
- Outstanding Story-Rich Game: Black Myth: Wukong
- Labor of Love: Elden Ring
- Best Game on Steam Deck: God of War Ragnarok
- Better With Friends: Helldivers 2
- Outstanding Visual Style: Silent Hill 2
- Most Innovative Gameplay: Liar’s Bar
- Best Soundtrack: Red Dead Redemption
- Sit Back and Relax: Farming Simulator 25
And that’s how a year ended for a gaming world. Since we are in 2025, there will be a lot of new games that about to make it’s launch and hopefully offer us a great experience along their way.
