Steam’s Free Adventure Game Will Become Paid Soon

The adventure game, which has received positive reviews on Steam, continues to be offered free to players for a limited time. However, developer studio Spunge Games announced that the game will become a paid game starting August 28, 2025. Therefore, players must add the game to their libraries before that date to receive it permanently free.

Cartoon Survivor Free on Steam Until August 28

Cartoon Survivor offers players a 3D adventure runner experience set in a colorful prehistoric world. The base version includes two worlds and a total of 15 levels. Additional packs containing different worlds are also available as DLC. The developer announced that this content will be available in discounted bundles after the game becomes a paid version.

The game is based on running, jumping, and gliding through obstacle-filled courses. These courses, filled with tigers, snakes, and dinosaurs, test players’ reflexes and speed. With its colorful visuals, cartoon-style atmosphere, and entertaining gameplay, Cartoon Survivor quickly gained attention.

The game, which holds a Positive rating on Steam, has received positive feedback from 27 players so far. Players particularly praise its fun visuals and smooth control support. The game is also compatible with external controllers like 8Bitdo.

Developer Spunge Games has not released exact pricing information ahead of Cartoon Survivor’s paid release date.
