Sting Announces New RPG Game VIractal

Sometimes the most extraordinary gaming experiences emerge by transcending the boundaries of classic genres. Especially in the RPG world, every new step promises players completely different adventures. Now, a familiar name is back on stage with an unusual concept. Sting, the developer of the Dokapon series, announced that he is back with a brand new project. This time, we have a role-playing adventure in the style of a board game: VIractal.

An Adventure Between Dream and Reality with VIractal

Sting announced that he will release his new game VIractal for the PC platform in early access via Steam. Although a clear release date has not been given yet, it has been announced that a demo version will be available to players on May 12. The game will offer support for many languages such as English, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

VIractal invites players to a board game-based adventure set in a mini world called “Viractalia”. While moves are determined by dice rolls, the real strategy lies in making the right moves with the cards in hand. Each new game will offer a procedurally shaped world, meaning a completely different exploration and combat experience every time.

The system also makes classic dice rolls more dynamic: unused steps can be converted into a special resource called “DP”, which can provide an advantage in battles or events. In addition, decisions made throughout the game can affect the abilities of characters or completely change the course of the story.

VIractal supports both single-player and multiplayer modes. It has also been stated that some special surprises await players, especially when played online. This project, which seems to be very striking for strategy, card games and board games enthusiasts, is preparing to bring a different breath to the RPG world.
