Subnautica Coming with Mobile Version
The survival game Subnautica, set in the depths of the ocean, is finally coming to mobile platforms. The game, developed by Unknown Worlds, will meet iOS and Android users on July 8. The mobile version will include the entirety of the original game and will be optimized with a special mobile interface and control support in collaboration with Playdigious.
Subnautica Will Also Offer a Full Version Experience on Mobile
Subnautica, whose full version was released in 2018, puts players in the shoes of an explorer who lands on the ocean planet 4546B. The game, which stands out with its exploration, base construction, resource collection and story-focused progression, managed to captivate players with its atmosphere and sense of depth rather than conflict. Now, this experience is being transferred to mobile devices.
The user interface has been redesigned for the mobile version and optimized for touch controls. Players who wish can also choose the classic button experience with MFi-supported controllers. On the iOS side, there is also iPhone 15 compatibility, GameCenter achievements and a cloud save system. It is stated that similar features will be offered for Android users.
The mobile version of Subnautica will be released on the App Store and Google Play with a price tag of $9.99. However, a 10% discount will be applied specifically for the launch period and the price will drop to $8.99 for a short time.
On the other hand, preparations are also underway for Subnautica 2. This new production, which is the sequel to the game, draws attention with its multiplayer support. Subnautica 2, which will offer co-op gameplay for up to four people, will be released on PC, Xbox Series X/S and Game Pass with early access this year and will remain in early access for approximately 2-3 years.
