Superman and Krypto Are No Longer Getting Along
Promotional content for the new Superman movie directed by James Gunn has begun to gain momentum. In the last scene released, Superman’s reaction to Krypto is striking. The super dog that destroyed Fortress of Solitude seems to have put our hero in a very difficult situation.
Krypto’s Unexpected Behavior Made Its Mark on the Plot
In the new scene released, Superman returns to Fortress of Solitude after a long absence and realizes that the environment has turned into chaos. Realizing that Krypto caused this situation, Superman asks the robots he left to watch over him to account. However, the robots say that they only feed the dog and that Krypto is bothered by the lack of attention.
James Gunn describes the relationship between Superman and Krypto as “complicated.” In an interview, he states that Krypto is not as good a dog as he seems from the outside, and is even portrayed as more cute in the trailer. Despite this, he adds that the reason the character is loved is his cuteness and innocent eyes.
The new Superman movie will bring David Corenswet to the audience as Clark Kent. Rachel Brosnahan will play Lois Lane; Nicholas Hoult will appear as Lex Luthor. The cast also includes names such as Isabela Merced, Nathan Fillion, Edi Gathegi and Anthony Carrigan.
According to Gunn’s statement, Superman’s belief in goodness and his love for humanity will be at the forefront in the movie. The movie, which has reached over $10 million in pre-sales before its release, will be in theaters on July 12.
