The veteran actor expressed his desire to bring Rambo back to life through artificial intelligence.
Rambo’s Journey to 18
Stallone shared his thoughts on a podcast and revealed that he envisions a film about Rambo’s youth. He believes AI technology is advanced enough to recreate an 18-year-old Rambo on the streets of Saigon. Stallone added that many people thought he was “crazy” when he first shared the idea.
Stallone stated that portraying Rambo is quite challenging for another actor, but that this could create bias in audiences. He cited his own experiences, highlighting similar challenges he faced in the film “Get Carter.” He believes taking on a legendary role like Rambo will be a significant responsibility.
Stallone is in the news not only for Rambo but also for the Rocky series. Director Peter Farrelly is working on a production titled “I Play Rocky.” However, Stallone admitted he wasn’t involved in the project and was surprised to hear the news. He also stated that he wanted to contribute to this story, which draws inspiration from his own life.
The veteran actor’s new memoir, “The Steps,” will be released on May 5, 2026. The book recounts Stallone’s career, from his early years in New York to Rocky’s Oscar-winning performance, and the subsequent career path. The third season of the actor’s popular series, Tulsa King, premieres on September 21, and the series has already been renewed for a fourth season.
