The First Descendant x NieR Collaboration Announced

The free-to-play multiplayer shooter The First Descendant is preparing for major innovations with its Season 3 update, which will be released in the summer. The most striking announcement was the first official collaboration with NieR: Automata. In addition to the new map, character, vehicles and social area to be added to the game, 2B and A2 costumes will also meet players.

The First Descendant Makes a Strong Entry into Season 3 with NieR Collaboration

While the name of the new season has been announced as “Breakthrough”, many new content will be offered to players. The huge open area called Axion Plains will be a dangerous area filled with both artificial and mutated enemies. A new vehicle system called the Hover Bike, which allows fast movement within this area, is also being added to the game. The standard model will be given free to everyone who enters the season.

The eight-player “Colossus Field Raid” content will also be activated for the first time with the season. The fight with the giant “Wall Crasher” boss will begin after driving the Hover Bike on a large terrain. Players are expected to act in coordination as a team. In addition, a customizable social area called “Lounge” is also being added to the game. Character costumes can be displayed here and special items can be placed.

The First Descendant x NieR: Automata collaboration will be entirely cosmetic-focused. The producers stated that they are limiting the collaboration to only clothing and decorations at this stage, as they are focusing on developing the basic structure of the game. However, in addition to the 2B and A2 outfits, there will also be a damaged 2B appearance without a skirt and special animations.

In addition, Nell, who will be included among the playable characters for the first time, stands out with her telekinesis-based abilities and aggressive gameplay style. In addition, two new modules prepared for “Ultimate Luna” will allow you to choose between weapon use and rhythm-based abilities according to your gameplay preference. Sword class weapons and their special modules will also be added to the game with the season.

Costume design contests and special events are planned as part of the first anniversary event “TFD Fest” to be held in the summer. The First Descendant is available for free to play on PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms.
