What’s New with the Fallout 76 Update

This major update brings a variety of changes to improve the Fallout 76 experience. For example, one of the common problems in camps, pets getting stuck in the borders, has been resolved. It was also stated that some building plans can now be used properly and the vertical spaces in the menu have been rearranged.

On the creature side, a bug that caused the Scorchbeast and Scorchbeast Queen to constantly “sonic attack” has been fixed. Event improvements have also been made, such as the Ultracite Titan’s corpse being properly removed during the Seismic Activity before the next event. Work is also ongoing to address performance issues in the Gleaming Depths raid area.

The update includes a variety of mechanical and visual fixes to improve the player experience. Some bugs in the Pip-Boy interface have been fixed, while V.A.T.S. alignment issues on ultrawide screens have been addressed. It has also addressed minor but noticeable issues such as some in-game items displaying incorrect icons and text errors.

Weapons have also been tweaked, with the Gauss Minigun’s smoke effects being adjusted and the revolutionary sword displaying the correct icon. Additionally, items like Rad-X and Rad-X Diluted now have their effects explained more clearly.

The update further demonstrates Bethesda’s commitment to Fallout 76. Once the target of criticism, the game has become known as the “comeback king” thanks to regular updates and an emphasis on community feedback. More updates later this year could further enhance the game’s success.
