The Last of Us 2’s $3,000 Guitar Is Being Sold Without the Game

The Last of Us series has been frequently featured in various versions in recent years, and now players have been offered an extraordinary bundle. A new set, developed in collaboration with Naughty Dog and PlayStation, is attracting attention with its $3,000 price tag. However, this special bundle surprisingly doesn’t include the game itself.

The Last of Us 2 Guitar Now Available Without the Game

This special bundle for The Last of Us Part 2 isn’t actually a game, but an official replica of the guitar Ellie plays in the story. Based on a Taylor 314ce, the guitar stands out with both its design and detail. An exact replica of the guitar Joel repaired for Ellie, it’s designed with a tobacco-colored finish and moth motifs on the neck, remaining completely faithful to the game version.

The bundle includes not only the guitar but also a special leather strap and a brown carrying case with a hard shell. The term “bundle” refers to these accessories that come with the guitar. However, as many players expect, the game itself is not included in the bundle. This makes the price even more controversial.

Taylor guitars are already known for their high quality craftsmanship. The fact that this particular model is produced under the The Last of Us brand has driven up the price even further. With its high collectible value and craftsmanship, the guitar is likely to appeal to both gamers and music enthusiasts. However, considering its price tag, it’s sure to be a hard-to-find collectible for many fans.

The guitars, available for pre-order on PlayStation Store, are expected to arrive on November 18, 2025. For those who want a bundle that includes the game, PlayStation is offering a “Complete Edition” that includes The Last of Us Part 1 and Part 2 Remastered versions. However, it appears Naughty Dog isn’t finished with this story yet, and there may be more surprises in store.
