The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered PC Edition Could Be Coming
According to reliable industry insider Billbil-kun, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is coming soon to PC users. In fact, the PC version of the game has been in development since 2021 and has been fully ready since November 2023.
The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered Leaks for PC
Billbil-kun is a source known for its accurate leaks before. For example, in May 2024, he leaked that God of War: Ragnarok would be the next PlayStation game coming to PC. Therefore, the assumption that the PlayStation game coming to PC after Ragnarok could be The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is quite strong.
The PC version of the first The Last of Us was developed by Iron Galaxy and Naughty Dog and suffered serious problems at launch. After that experience, it is hoped that both Naughty Dog and Iron Galaxy have learned their lessons. With the PC version having been completed since November 2023, it’s expected to launch in a highly polished state.
It’s no surprise that Sony is interested in bringing The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered to PC. The PC version of the first game is currently the seventh most successful PlayStation title on PC. While it didn’t match the success of the Horizon games, it still managed to sell well.
In order to promote the PC version of this game, Sony had to release God of War: Ragnarok PC release (September 19th) to promote the PC version of this game. For this reason, we shouldn’t expect news about the PC version of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered for a long time, but it could be revealed at PlayStation’s summer event.
