The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is real
Naughty Dog’s one of famous franchises, The Last of Us got it’s latest game in 2020. The game made a lot of controversial changes such as killing an important character for the series but regardless, The Last of Us Part 2 was a successful game, gained a lot of awards in the events.
Players were curious about the PS5 version of the game. Last month, an artist’s LinkedIn profile leaked something. We all expecting The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered but date was not certain yet.

Developer Naughty Dog shared a trailer on social media for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, which revealed the game’s release date to be January 19, 2024. The game is slated to be a PS5 exclusive with more than just upgraded graphics.
In fact, the remastered game offers a bevy of new features including a brand new game mode and plenty of behind the scenes content. Of course, this all comes on top of improved loading times, full DualSense integration, and 4K gaming in Fidelity Mode.
In The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, there will be also roguelike survival mode called “No Return”. The new gameplay mode will feature unlockable characters, some of which have never before been playable in a Last of Us game. Among several other features, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will also feature lost levels that allow players to explore early development versions of unreleased stages.
Additionally, players will have the chance to venture through three different early development versions of lost levels from The Last of Us Part 2 with developer commentary. Lastly, a guitar free play mode will expand on the fan favorite feature from the original title. Not only can Last of Us 2 players use the guitar to play real songs as they did on the PS4 version, but gamers will reportedly have opportunities to unlock additional instruments.
Of course, gamers would argue that there are a slew of older PlayStation exclusives that need remasters more than The Last of Us 2. That said, the new features make this a much more compelling title than originally thought. Not to mention, the remaster looks to be the definitive version for PS5 owners who have yet to play the acclaimed game.
The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will be released for PS5 at January 19, 2024. There is no news about PC version.
