Players Take on the Role of a Special Forces Rescue Team Leader

In The Thing: Remastered, players take on the role of Captain J.F. Blake, the leader of a U.S. Army Special Forces rescue team sent to investigate the events of the film. Players face a variety of terrifying monsters, from scurrying spider-headed creatures to humanoid walkers and giant multi-armed bosses. The game also explores the possibility that one of the player-controlled team members could be an alien impersonator, creating paranoia and distrust.

The remaster features models, textures, animations, lighting, and atmospheric effects enhanced by Nightdive Studios’ proprietary KEX Engine. Visual quality is up to 4K 120FPS on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game features 11 terrifying levels, management of a 4-person team consisting of the soldier, medic, and engineer classes, and elements such as gaining the trust of team members and managing their fears. Achievement and trophy support are also available on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.

The Thing: Remastered promises an unforgettable experience with its atmosphere full of fear and tension, rich content and renewed graphics. It stands out as a production not to be missed for fans of the film and horror game lovers.
