The Wandering Village Release Date Announced

The Wandering Village, which has been in early access for a long time, is finally getting ready to meet players with its full version. The city-building game developed by Stray Fawn Studio will be released for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC on July 17. Players will begin their struggle to survive in this unique world on the back of a giant creature.

The Wandering Village is a Complete Survival Struggle

The Wandering Village takes place in a world covered in deadly spores. A small community of survivors are trying to survive by settling on the back of a giant creature called Onbu. As the leader of this community, players must balance the needs of both people and Onbu. In addition to managing food, shelter and production chains, coping with climate change and environmental threats is also a fundamental part of the game.

Stray Fawn has also announced the physical collector’s edition of the game. This special edition, which will be available for PS5 and Switch, includes a game box, special stickers, a downloadable music album, a five-inch Onbu flower pot, a wooden badge set, a fabric poster, an art book, a keychain, and a postcard collection. Players will have an enriched experience with both digital and physical content.

The game, which received significant updates during the early access period, has been greatly deepened with content such as a story mode, an ocean biome, a redesigned economy system, and new gameplay mechanics. Balance settings and difficulty levels have also been improved. Players will be able to shape their relationship with Onbu, whether in a friendly or exploitative manner.

The Wandering Village offers players not only a city-building game, but also a post-apocalyptic adventure full of ethical choices. It is eagerly awaited to see how much this experience will grow with the release of the full version.
