Titan Quest 2 Quietly Released into Early Access
Titan Quest, the action-RPG series known for its mythological theme, has returned after a long hiatus. Grimlore Games and THQ Nordic have made the surprising decision to release Titan Quest 2 into early access without any prior announcement. Nearly 20 years after the original, the sequel has launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. The game’s campaign mode alone is reported to offer approximately 20 hours of gameplay.
Titan Quest 2: Return to Mythology Begins
Inspired by Greek mythology, Titan Quest 2 takes players on a journey that spans stunning shores, serene temples, and the mysterious land of the Moirai, untouched by mortals. Fights against mythical creatures like Harpies, Sirens, Centaurs, and Gryphons promise action-packed moments. Players can parry their enemies’ attacks and execute counterattacks with precision.
The game offers a wealth of content, featuring three distinct factions, six major boss battles, over 50 enemy types, nine main quests, and dozens of side activities. Players will be able to explore a total of 50 different areas on a massive map, including 10 branching dungeons. Furthermore, replayability is high thanks to a character customization system and over 300 skill mods.
Even in early access, Titan Quest 2 offers over 300 weapons, armor, and collectibles, promising players a comprehensive and in-depth RPG experience. Difficulty levels can be customized with in-game rituals, allowing players to approach each challenge with a different strategy.
After a long lull following the first game, the Titan Quest franchise has returned to the spotlight with this surprise release. Given the wealth of content offered in early access, Titan Quest 2 is expected to expand further in the coming months.
