Total War: Warhammer 3 to Fix AI Imbalances
Total War: Warhammer 3, developed by Creative Assembly, is preparing a new update to fix AI issues that players have been complaining about for a long time. The update will address situations called “anti-player bias”, where the AI acts aggressively against players. It will also make adjustments to “suicidal” AI behaviors that mismanage their own resources or carry out irrational attacks.
Total War: Warhammer 3 AI Behaviors and New Updates
Creative Assembly has acknowledged in recent months that the AI acts unfairly towards players. In particular, issues such as the AI ignoring threats on the other side of the map and only targeting players were frequently mentioned. These issues are planned to be largely fixed with the 6.1 update to be released on March 25.
Beta tests have shown that the AI improves the questing system, but it has some unexpected results. For example, it was observed during the updates that small parties were more easily defeated by large empires. Since this situation creates problems in terms of the game’s balance, most of these changes will not be included in the 6.1 update.
The update is not limited to AI adjustments alone. Players will encounter extensive innovations for the Kislev faction and new adjustments for the Kairos Fateweaver. In addition, a new unit will be added to the Cathay and Ogre Kingdoms factions. In addition, it is planned to include Mother Ostankya, one of the characters from Kislev, back into the story.
After the 6.1 update, a new beta process will be launched to collect player feedback. During this process, it will be tested whether the AI establishes a fairer balance against players. In particular, changes to the “anti-player bias” that prevents players from progressing on the map will be closely monitored.
With these updates, Creative Assembly is expected to make Total War: Warhammer 3 more balanced and enjoyable. Players are eagerly awaiting these changes, which will allow the AI to act more logically and fairly.
