Trevor Actor Closes Door on GTA 6
As rumors and expectations about GTA 6 increase, Steven Ogg, who played the unforgettable Trevor Philips character in GTA 5, announced that he will not be involved in future projects. Trevor Won’t Be in GTA 6
Steven Ogg explained his feelings for the GTA series and the character Trevor during the podcast. Ogg said, “Trevor is a great character, I love him,” and opposed the negative rumors about the character. The actor, who especially denied the claims that he “hates Trevor,” stated that he found it strange when people called him by his character name.
Ogg said, “It feels weird when they call me Trevor because I’m not a video game character.” However, he made it clear that this doesn’t change his love for the series or the character. He also added that he is still close friends with fellow actors Shawn Fonteno (Franklin) and Ned Luke (Michael), with whom he worked on GTA 5.
Steven Ogg gave a definitive answer to questions about whether he will be in GTA 6, saying, “No, I won’t be in GTA 6.” Stating that he has no personal interest in video games, Ogg said that he played classic games like Donkey Kong when he was a kid, but he doesn’t play games today. Rockstar Games has yet to announce an official release date for GTA 6. However, Ogg’s statements have put an end to fans’ hopes of seeing Trevor in the new game.
GTA 6 is creating a lot of excitement in the gaming world as one of the biggest games expected to be released in 2025 or 2026. Rockstar Games’ continued secrecy about the game’s details is increasing fans’ expectations even more. However, Steven Ogg stated that despite his lack of interest in the series, GTA is an impressive brand and Trevor is an important part of this success.
