First Reward for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Developed by the ZeniMax Media-owned Swedish studio MachineGames, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been praised by players for its story, puzzles, and gameplay, with the title currently recommended by 95 percent of critics on OpenCritic.

While Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was released a little too late to appear at The Game Awards 2024, the action-adventure title has now picked up its first award. Troy Baker’s performance as Indiana Jones was recognized at the 14th Annual New York Game Awards on January 21, with the actor winning Best Acting in a Game. Baker beat out some other incredible talents to take home the prize, including Melina Juergens (Senua in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2), John Eric Bentley (Barret in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth), and Hannah Telle (Max Caulfield in Life is Strange: Double Exposure).

With the continued success of the MachineGames title, recent rumors imply that Disney wants more Indiana Jones games in the future, meaning that Baker may be reprising his role. The developers have continued to improve the title through a series of updates, with the game slated to support DLSS4 Multi-Frame Generation once the RTX 50 GPUs become available. While Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was only initially released for PC and Xbox Series X/S, the game is slated to release for PlayStation 5 in early 2025, though no exact date has been announced.
