Two Modes Come to Fortnite, Including Blitz Royale
Epic Games has added two new modes to the game by offering a full update to Fortnite players before the summer vacation. This update, released on June 18, will be the last major update for about a month. However, thanks to Blitz Royale and LEGO Fortnite Expeditions, players will be able to spend time without getting bored throughout the summer.
Blitz Royale and LEGO Fortnite Expeditions Details
The new Blitz Royale mode aims to offer a fast and dynamic gaming experience for Battle Royale lovers. Although designed specifically for mobile players, this mode, which can be played on all platforms, draws attention with its 32-person “rogue-like” design. Blitz Royale, which has a short-term match format, will offer challenges that are completed in five minutes. In addition, according to rumors, the mode will be updated with weekly seasons and Avatar and TMNT collaborations will return.
Another innovation is the LEGO Fortnite Expeditions mode. Although the details for this mode, which targets minifigure lovers, have not yet been fully disclosed, it is known that three different class options will be offered. This mode aims to provide players with a completely different experience by integrating the LEGO world into Fortnite.
With the update, Super Styles have been opened for Chapter 6, Season 4 Battle Pass. In addition, the Superman character has become accessible to players who have not purchased bonus tiers. Mini events, the new Fortnite Festival season and the Bruno Mars theme are among the other prominent details of this update. The Ballistic mode has been renewed with a new map, additional weapons and a warm-up lobby.
Although the Epic Games team has gone on summer vacation, weekly missions will continue to be updated. In this way, XP earning opportunities will continue for players who want to complete the Battle Pass. Thanks to the new modes, the Fortnite arena seems to remain active throughout the summer.
