Warhammer 40K: Speed Freeks Release Date Announced

Warhammer 40K: Speed Freeks, which has been in Early Access for a long time, is finally moving to its full version. This multiplayer game, which features car battles, will be released on Steam on May 22. While the full version price of the game was announced, it was also announced that it will be offered for free to previous players.

Warhammer 40K: Speed Freeks Is Not Free, But It Comes with Surprises

Developed by Caged Element and Wired Productions, the game will no longer be a free game. The price for the full version, which will be released on May 22, was announced as $ 15.99 / euro. However, those who played the game during the Early Access period will be able to upgrade to the full version without paying any fee. This was announced as a gesture of gratitude to the 250 thousand-person community.

The game’s previous publisher, PLAION, made significant contributions to the developer in this process shaped by player feedback. The new publisher, Wired Productions, describes this transition of the game as a “planned takeover that took months.” In addition, all in-game microtransactions will be removed with the 1.0 update. Players’ previously earned or purchased in-game currency, “Teef”, will be spendable for 12 months, but the store will be closed to general use.

Speed Freeks quickly gained a strong fan base among players by bringing chaotic speed and Ork-themed vehicle combat to the Warhammer 40K universe. It was announced that the game will continue to be supported in the future with new content plans and post-release surprises.

The development team emphasizes that what makes this game different from classic vehicle combat is the energy of the Orks and the ruthlessness of the universe. The goal of Speed Freeks is not only to be fast; it is to be the longest standing in battle. Players will experience the excitement in this chaotic universe at full throttle.
