What will Space Marine 2 Horde Mode be like?
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has some action-packed news. Focus Entertainment announced that Horde Mode is on its way in the game’s April community update. This new PvE mode, which will be added to the game with the upcoming 8th patch, will offer increasingly difficult battles against both Tyranid and Chaos enemies.
Horde Mode in Space Marine 2 Detailed
The new Horde Mode is designed to be played with up to three players or two boats. Players will try to survive as long as they can against successive waves of enemies. The difficulty level will increase as each wave is passed, so strategy and team harmony will be of great importance. According to Focus Entertainment’s statement, the class and weapon levels in PvE mode will also be reflected in Horde Mode, meaning your current progress will be directly affected by this mode.
The first map where the new mode will be played has also been introduced. This map, called Kadaku, stands out with its dark atmosphere and narrow battlefields. Players’ good use of environmental advantages and positioning according to their class roles will be one of the most important factors that will determine their survival in the advancing waves.
Horde Mode is not the only innovation coming with the 8th patch. With the update, the game will be rebalanced for the Absolute difficulty level and two new packages containing cosmetic content will be offered: the Blood Angels themed skin pack and the White Scars champion pack. Some of this content will be free, while some will be offered as DLC.
Focus Entertainment has not yet announced the exact release date for Horde Mode and the 8th patch. However, the statements hinted that the update will come soon. This new mode, which Warhammer fans have shown great interest in, is preparing to add a long-term PvE excitement to Space Marine 2.
