Will Our GTA 5 Characters Appear in GTA 6?

GTA 6 is expected to be released in the fall of 2025. It has been officially confirmed that the game will be set in Vice City and will follow a criminal couple in a Bonnie and Clyde-style story. The female protagonist is said to be named Lucia, while the male character could be Jason.

Will There Be Familiar Faces in GTA 6?

The GTA series is considered an anthology series, with each game offering new stories with new characters in different settings. However, there are still some connections to previous games for the eagle-eyed fans. For example, GTA 4 character Packie is back in GTA 5 as an optional heist crew member.

So will we see any familiar faces in GTA 6? That seems likely! Rockstar Games is particularly keen on bringing in supporting characters to new games. However, it seems unlikely that Tommy Vercetti, the lead character from GTA: Vice City, will be in GTA 6.

It is known that GTA 5 actors Ned Luke (Michael), Shawn Fonteno (Franklin), and Steven Ogg (Trevor) have had better experience with Rockstar Games. It seems more likely that these actors will be involved in GTA 6 in some way. Michael is now a big-time filmmaker, so he could be involved in a movie shoot in Vice City. Franklin could be visiting Vice City for vacation or business.

However, it is unlikely that these potential returning characters will play a major role in the GTA 6 story. Given Rockstar’s past experience, the focus will likely be on Lucia and Jason. Either way, this is information that Rockstar will likely keep under wraps until the game gets into players’ hands in the fall of 2025.
