WoW Reimagined with UE5
Turtle WoW is a private server based on the original version of World of Warcraft and features a fan-made expansion called Mysteries of Azeroth. This expansion aims to offer a richer version of Azeroth by adding new races, maps, raids and more to the game’s original content. In particular, new playable races such as High Elves for the Alliance and Goblins for the Horde are included in this expansion.
WoW from the Ground Up with UE5, Delivering Great Graphics
Most notably, the Turtle WoW team has ported the game to Unreal Engine 5, significantly improving the graphics quality. This new version will present Azeroth in a level of detail and visual quality never seen before. Improved HD models and more realistic environment designs are among the biggest innovations of this version. However, these visual improvements also increase the game’s system requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit or higher
- Processor: Intel i5 6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
- Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD RX 580
If these requirements are difficult to meet, players can optionally revert back to lower-detail vanilla assets. Turtle WoW 2.0 will also support Android mobile devices and utilize performance optimization technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR.
The update will include an expanded quest log, field of view adjustments, full plugin support, and more powerful modding tools. In addition, this version, scheduled for release next year, will feature an improved anti-cheat system.
