Three New Controllers at Different Levels for Xbox

Speaking on a podcast, Jez Corden reported that Microsoft is working on three different game controller prototypes. The first of these controllers is being developed to be similar to the current standard model. However, it is stated that this model includes some new-generation improvements and will be more affordable. Thus, it is planned to offer an accessible option for entry-level users.

The second model will target the middle segment. According to Corden, this controller will be positioned at a balanced point in terms of both price and features. It is thought that it will have more advanced technical features compared to the standard versions, but will be more affordable than the Elite series. This model is expected to appeal to a wide range of gamers.

The third and most striking model is an advanced version called the “Elite Series 3”. The biggest difference of this special controller is that it switches to a new technology in terms of connection. It is planned to provide lower latency by connecting directly to the cloud via Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth. It is also stated that the device will have a switch that will allow switching between cloud and console/PC mode.

It is still unclear when the new Xbox controllers will be introduced or released. Corden says that these models may be announced next year or with the next generation Xbox. However, he also emphasizes that there is no definite information on technical details, pricing and release date. The official statement from Microsoft is eagerly awaited.
