Xbox Breaker Series Controllers Coming
Xbox continues to expand its custom controller collection. This time, the Breaker series offers players three different designs. Models named Ice Breaker, Storm Breaker, and Heart Breaker stand out with their colors, patterns, and detailed craftsmanship. Based on the Xbox Series X|S controller design, these special editions will also be compatible with Xbox One and Windows PC.
Xbox Breaker Series Controllers
The coldest member of the Breaker series, Ice Breaker, is inspired by the theme of snow and ice. Its partially transparent casing gives it a frozen appearance, making it a collectible with its icy effect. Meanwhile, Storm Breaker stands out with its black-and-white color scheme and metallic D-pad design. While its name may evoke Thor’s hammer, its true distinction lies in its stylish contrasts. The Heart Breaker, the most colorful member of the series, offers an energetic look with its blend of blue, pink, and purple tones.
All models are based on the standard Xbox Series X|S controller design. This means Xbox One users can also choose these special editions with confidence. PC gamers are also fully compatible. All three controllers are available for pre-order on the Microsoft Store for $80. They are expected to be listed at other retailers soon. The launch date has been announced as September 9, 2025.
In addition to the Breaker series, the Xbox Design Lab platform is back. Players can design their own controllers with different colors, details, and personal touches. There’s even the option to add a Gamertag or text message. New options will be added to the Design Lab later this year. The previously sold-out DOOM: The Dark Ages and The Witcher 3: 10th Anniversary controllers will also be available again.
This strategy from Xbox creates a new opportunity for gamers who missed out on limited edition controllers. It’s already clear that the Breaker series will be a standout choice for both collectors and gamers looking for stylish designs.
