Xbox Combines Game Libraries

Xbox hasn’t forgotten PC gamers as it continues to expand its multi-platform strategy. This week, Xbox Insiders have begun testing the new Aggregated Gaming Library feature on Windows 11 PCs and portable devices.

Xbox Aggregated Gaming Library Will Make Gamers Easier

According to a blog post shared by Xbox, the Aggregated Gaming Library was rolled out to Insiders this week and will be available to all users with the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X models during the holiday season. With this feature, gamers will be able to see all the games they own from Xbox, Game Pass, Battle.net, and other popular PC stores in a single library.

The new system will be fully compatible with the Xbox PC App. When a game is loaded from a supported store, it will automatically be added to the ‘My Library’ section and the ‘Recent’ category in the side menu. Users can turn this feature off in the settings and hide store integrations if they wish.

Xbox’s move aims to prevent players from getting lost between different stores and provide access to each game with a single click. It stands out as a very practical innovation, especially for players who use more than one store on PC.

Xbox’s Aggregated Gaming Library feature draws attention as part of the company’s recent steps such as the VR device partnership and AMD partnership. These developments prove once again that Xbox is pushing the boundaries in hardware and software.
