Not only hardware, but also game prices are changing. Xbox announced that it will increase the price of some first-party games from $69.99 to $79.99 for digital and physical versions starting at the end of the year. Although it is not yet clear which games will be affected, this increase means an additional cost for gamers.

Xbox stated that these decisions are related to production costs, market conditions, and increasing hardware development costs. It was also stated that adaptive controller and joystick prices will not change, only headset prices in the US and Canada have been updated. It was noted that console availability may vary by country and retailer.
