Zoochosis Console Release Date Announced

Originally released on PC and quickly captivating attention with its unique atmosphere, Zoochosis invited players to experience a suspenseful story through the eyes of a night shift keeper. The game’s most striking aspect was the role of caring for animals while simultaneously witnessing the spread of a mysterious infection. Now, this extraordinary experience is coming to console users. Developer Clapperheads announced that a major update will be included with the release.

Zoochosis Coming to Consoles

Zoochosis, which will launch on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on August 25, 2025, will also be available for PC users via the Epic Games Store on the same date. The new version isn’t limited to platform adaptation; it will also feature numerous improvements, including performance optimizations, improved AI, smoother control systems, and a revamped user interface. This will allow both console and PC players to experience the game’s intensely tense atmosphere more seamlessly.

The Clapperheads team states that they’ve revisited some gameplay dynamics based on feedback. The questline, animal interaction system, and infection detection mechanics have been revised to provide a more balanced gameplay pace. This allows players to experience the depth of the story and more clearly understand the impact of their decisions on the final outcome.

The game promises more than just a classic horror experience. Players will have to identify infected animals, produce the necessary vaccines, and prevent the spread of the infection. Every decision made during this process will be a critical factor in determining the game’s outcome. With the console version, improvements to the visual effects, lighting, and sound design will enhance the atmosphere, elevating the horror experience to a whole new level.

For horror fans, Zoochosis stands out not only as a survival game but also as a thriller that tests decision-making under pressure. With the console release on August 25th, this experience will reach a wider audience and likely secure a permanent place in the horror genre.
