12 Games Are Being Removed from the PlayStation Store
Recently, content cleanup has accelerated in digital stores. With licensing periods, low player numbers, and server costs, some games are quietly preparing for their departure. This list is a bit longer than usual, and it’s important not to miss the dates.
PlayStation Store Games to be Removed List Finalized
The games that will be removed from the PlayStation Store or whose online services will be shut down throughout late March and April are as follows:
- Firewall Ultra (PSVR2) – March 17 (Removed from the store), September 17 (Online closure)
- The Finals (PS4) – March 18 (Online closure)
- WBSC eBaseball: Power Pros (PS4) – March 31 (Online closure)
- WWE 2K24 (PS5, PS4) – March 31 (Online closure)
- Zombie Army VR (PSVR2) – March 31 (Online closure)
- Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection (PS5, PS4) – April 1 (To be removed from the store)
- Tower of Fantasy (PS4) – April 7 (To be removed from the store), October 20 (Online closure)
- Genshin Impact (PS4) – April 8 (Online closure)
- King of Meat (PS5) – April 9 (Online closure)
- Granblue Fantasy Versus (PS4) – April 20 (Online closure)
- Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt (PS5) – April 28 (Online shutdown)
- Dragon Age: Inquisition (PS3) – April 28 (Online shutdown)
The list includes both games that have been completely removed and those where only the online services have been shut down. Removals due to licensing, such as Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection, can create irreversible situations.
On the online side, the situation is a bit more delicate. In multiplayer-focused games, the experience is severely limited when servers shut down. Some titles remain playable offline, but offer a content-incomplete experience.
On the other hand, there’s good news for some players. It’s stated that progress in games like Tower of Fantasy and Genshin Impact can be carried over to PS5. So you don’t have to start completely from scratch.
