4 New Movies and Series Coming to the John Wick Universe

The second series project developed after The Continental, John Wick: Under The High Table, represents the small-screen side of the franchise. The series takes place after Chapter 4 and examines the power vacuum created by the collapse of the High Table through the eyes of new assassins. This time, Chad Stahelski will direct. The production will weave together the stories of assassins from diverse cultures, creating a global action atmosphere. Caine Film – Donnie Yen Directs

Donnie Yen, who rose to prominence with his performance in John Wick 4, returns with a standalone film based on his character, Caine. The project, which has been approved by Lionsgate, is being helmed by Yen as both actor and director. The film will combine the spirit of classic Hong Kong martial arts cinema with Hollywood action. The producers are also looking to bring in top action stars from the Far East, including Michelle Yeoh, Tony Jaa, and Iko Uwais. The series’ first animated feature film, John Wick: The Animated Prequel, will take place before the 2014 film premiere.
