Adria Arjona’s name has begun to emerge as one of the strongest candidates for the new Wonder Woman. According to claims, the actress actually auditioned for the role of Maxima. However, according to insider information, the real purpose of these auditions may be different and may be serving as a “cover” for the Wonder Woman character.

Industry insiders suggest this is a tactic previously used by DC. It’s known that actors auditioning for a role might actually be considered for a completely different character. Therefore, the possibility that Arjona is being considered for a much larger role than Maxima has become a serious topic of discussion among fans.

On the other hand, while statements from James Gunn don’t definitively confirm these rumors, they don’t completely deny them either. Especially considering that characters in the new DC universe will be introduced gradually and surprisingly, Wonder Woman’s inclusion in the universe with a small scene seems quite logical. This further strengthens the Arjona claim.
