Creative Assembly celebrates the 10th anniversary of Alien: Isolation’s 10th anniversary with exciting news: Alien: Isolation sequel is in early development. This announcement crowns the series’ success in the survival horror genre.
Alien: Isolation 2 is coming
Creative Assembly’s creative director Alistair Hope has confirmed that Alien: Isolation 2 is in development. In a special statement marking the game’s 10th anniversary, Hope announced that his team will stay true to the series’ roots and that the long-awaited sequel is in development. The atmosphere of the first game, which breathed new life into the survival horror genre, will be preserved in this new installment, giving players moments of suspense.
Creative Assembly, in partnership with SEGA, is focused on creating Alien: Isolation 2 in partnership with SEGA. As Hope said, the team plans to share more details about the game’s development over time. The deep atmosphere created by the first game and the story, which is faithful to the 1979 Alien movie, will continue to influence the sequel. The developers hope that Alien: Isolation 2 aims to further strengthen the horror and survival elements.
