AMD FSR 4 Comes with Over 30 Games
AMD has announced its next-generation image upscaling technology, FSR 4. Drawing attention with its advanced AI and machine learning support, FSR 4 will be available in more than 30 games initially. This technology will be compatible with graphics cards with RDNA4 architecture and will offer players a smoother graphics experience. Popular productions such as The Last of Us Part II Remastered, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Horizon Forbidden West are among the games that AMD will support with FSR 4.
AMD FSR 4 Highlights
AMD FSR 4 draws attention with its AI-supported scheduling (temporal upscaling) and frame generation technologies. Unlike previous versions, FSR 4 will only work on graphics cards with RDNA4 architecture and will increase performance using these cards’ AI accelerators. AMD announced that FSR 4 will be available in more than 75 games throughout 2025. The company is working with major gaming studios like Activision, Guerrilla Games, and Naughty Dog to integrate this technology into more games.
According to AMD’s statement, the lowest quality mode of FSR 4 will be “Performance” (2x increase), while the highest quality mode will be offered as “Native AA”, which increases native image sharpness. However, it was stated that the ultra-performance mode will not be offered in this version.
It is anticipated that the advanced graphics experience offered by FSR 4 will enable players to have a smoother and visually richer gaming experience. It is eagerly awaited how the new technology will make a difference in the gaming world with the games it supports.
