13 Minute Assassin’s Creed Shadows Gameplay Video
This video offers a closer look at the game’s combat dynamics. Assassin’s Creed Shadows stands out with its new combat mechanics. The video shows acrobatic moves of the characters, various weapon uses and strategic fight scenes.
However, we should immediately say that the video is quite bloody. For this reason, we kindly ask our friends who are underage not to watch this video.
In the footage, Yasuke comes to Fukuchiyama to track down a corrupt daimyo. His trail leads him to a confrontation with a samurai who abuses his power, where Assassin’s Creed Shadows showcases new combat featuring destructible armor, devastating but risky stance attacks and multi-weapon combat. Yasuke crushes his enemies with massive blows of his powerful kanabo before dispatching the samurai in a katana duel.
When the time comes to assassinate the Daimyo in his castle, players will be able to choose between Naoe and Yasuke; the walkthrough sees Naoe take the lead in infiltrating the higher complex. As the most stealthy Assassin ever, Naoe has a range of tools at her disposal, allowing her to strike silently and move unseen. She can lie prone and crawl through tall grass, peek around corners or dim the lights to hide in the shadows. She can swing and climb using her grappling hook, stun NPCs, assassinate remote targets using her kusarigama, and more.
