Atlus Preps for Big Announcements for 2025
Atlus, one of the important developers of the gaming world, is preparing to announce its big plans for 2025. Developers from the teams working on the company’s Persona and Shin Megami Tensei series stated that they are working on new games and that these projects will be announced soon. Kazuhisa Wada, one of Atlus’ creative producers, stated that 2025 will be the year of “large-scale projects” and that these projects are being managed carefully.
Atlus’ 2025 Plans
Atlus’ 2024 was full of successful productions such as Persona 3 Reload, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, and the award-winning Metaphor: ReFantazio. However, 2025 may be a bigger turning point for the company. Shinjiro Takada, who works on Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei series, announced that they are working on a new game and aim to announce this project “as soon as possible.”
Persona series’ Atsushi Nomura and Naoya Maeda stated that they are working on “exciting” innovations that fans have never experienced before. On the other hand, according to Wada’s statements, these projects could be among Atlus’ biggest games to date.
Expectations are quite high for Persona 6, the new game in the Persona series. Considering that eight years have passed since the previous games in the series, Atlus may give its fans a big surprise at the end of this long wait. In addition, the Shin Megami Tensei series is expected to be expanded with a new main game.
2025 seems to be the year of big surprises for Atlus fans. The projects the company will announce may include new games, as well as expansions of existing series and side stories. Atlus is expected to further solidify its place in the gaming world with these projects.
