Battlefield 6 Season 1 Comes with Brand New Maps and Modes
A new era is dawning in the Battlefield universe. Electronic Arts (EA) has released the highly anticipated Season 1 trailer for Battlefield 6. The trailer showcases the brand-new Blackwell Fields map and the dynamic gameplay-inspired Strikepoint game mode. This season, which promises intense combat on both land and air, is a strong start to the series’ new era.
Battlefield 6 Season 1 Arrives with Three Waves of Content
According to information shared by EA, Season 1 will be released in three distinct phases. Each phase will feature new content, maps, and monthly additions to Portal mode. The first phase of the season will feature two maps: Blackwell Fields and Eastwood.
Blackwell Fields, with its besieged facilities and flaming farmland, hosts large-scale ground and air battles. Eastwood, a tranquil golf resort and converted villa, offers a frontline setting, enabling intense clashes with tanks and helicopters.
The new season isn’t limited to just maps. A new mode, Strikepoint, will give players a tactical combat experience. Additionally, three new weapons—the SOR-300SC rifle, the GGH-22 pistol, and the Mini Scout sniper rifle—are being added to the game. A new vehicle and an additional weapon attachment will also be included in the first season.
Battlefield 6 Season 1, launching shortly after launch, aims to provide players with a long-term experience with a regular content schedule. According to EA, this season will lay the groundwork for future expansions and events.
