Battlefield 6 was Defeated by Delta Force

However, things didn’t go as expected after the game’s release. According to the latest data, Battlefield 6 is now behind one of its major competitors in terms of player numbers.

Delta Force Surpasses Battlefield 6 in Player Count

According to data shared on Steam, Battlefield 6’s player count has been steadily declining recently. The most striking detail is that Delta Force has overtaken Battlefield 6 in this regard. At the time of writing, Delta Force has reached approximately 122,000 concurrent players on Steam.

The number of players simultaneously in Battlefield 6 remains around 35,000. This means Delta Force has three times as many players as Battlefield 6. This is considered a remarkable development, especially at a time when the Battlefield series is expected to experience a resurgence.

When Delta Force was first announced, many viewed it as a “Battlefield-like” game. Some players even described it as a direct copy of Battlefield. However, the game managed to grow its player base by receiving regular updates during its early access period.

Released in early access in December 2024, Delta Force has received many major content updates since then. The extraction mode and the constantly added new content are considered significant factors in increasing the game’s player count. The latest chart shows Delta Force in the top 10 on Steam, while Battlefield 6 ranks much lower.
